Prayers that matter

I love to start my prayers with praise for who God is and His attributes. I love to write out my prayers and acknowledge who God is and what He is doing in my life. The psalms are full of the attributes of God. My admission section is specific to where I am that day and what has transpired in my life. My request section is verbal and written. My thanksgiving section is where I write a love letter to God. I find that writing my prayers helps keep me focused. What I need is consistency. My prayers matter to God. My prayers are important to keep me in the palm of God's hand.
